During a ceremonial gala organized by the Marshal’s Office of the Lubelskie Voivodeship, Czesław Lang was awarded the title of Honorary Ambassador of the Lubelskie Voivodeship. This prestigious distinction is a recognition of his many years of commitment to promoting the region and to the development of cycling at the highest international level.
It is no coincidence that, for the second consecutive year, the Lubelskie Voivodeship will host the Tour de Pologne Women– the most important women’s cycling race in this part of Europe. The region, renowned for its beautiful landscapes, hospitality, and sporting spirit, will once again welcome the world’s top cyclists, while the race itself will serve as an excellent platform for the international promotion of the voivodeship.
Czesław Lang did not hide his emotion and gratitude upon receiving the honorary title:
“I would like to sincerely thank the entire committee that decided to award me the title of Honorary Ambassador of the Lubelskie Voivodeship. I would also like to extend my deep appreciation to Marshal Jarosław Stawiarski, who takes great care in promoting the Lubelskie Voivodeship. I will do my utmost to fulfill my role as Honorary Ambassador in the best possible way, especially since this year we will once again be jointly organizing the Tour de Pologne Women. There will be many opportunities to showcase the most beautiful corners of the Lubelskie region and to promote it not only in Poland, but also worldwide,” said Czesław Lang.
It is also worth noting that the Tour de Pologne Women 2026 will take place on 24–26 July 2026. The race has been recognized by the International Cycling Union (UCI), which has elevated it to the prestigious UCI Women’s ProSeriescategory, confirming its growing importance on the international women’s cycling calendar.
