4. TdP Women is getting closer. We’re following the world’s elite at Ronde van Vlaanderen.

This coming Sunday, the cycling world will turn its attention to Ronde van Vlaanderen. That’s why we’re watching developments with even greater interest, as we’ll soon find out which of the biggest stars we’ll see this summer in Poland during the 4th edition of Tour de Pologne Women, which will take place from July 24-26 in the Lubelskie Voivodeship.

The top favorite for Sunday’s race is undoubtedly Lotte Kopecky of Team SD Worx-Protime. The Belgian has made history as the first rider to win Ronde van Vlaanderen three times and now she’s aiming for a fourth victory. Supporting her in the fight for success will be, among others, Mischa Bredewold and Lorena Wiebes.

However, many other outstanding names will also be at the start. FDJ-SUEZ boasts a very strong duo in Demi Vollering and Elise Chabbey. Team Visma | Lease a Bike also presents a formidable lineup with legendary figures of the women’s peloton: Marianne Vos and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot.

Other teams also have ambitious plans: Lidl-Trek is counting on Elisa Balsamo and Shirin van Anrooij, while UAE Team ADQ fields two-time race winner Elisa Longo Borghini alongside Silvia Persico. Canyon//SRAM zondacrypto also brings a very strong squad featuring Agnieszka Skalniak-Sójka, last year’s Tour de Pologne Women winner Chiara Consonni, Chloe Dygert, and Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig.

Among the favorites, we also cannot overlook riders from Movistar Team (Liane Lippert, Cat Ferguson, Marlen Reusser) and AG Insurance-Soudal Team (Kim Le Court, Jade Bossuyt). The start list also includes names such as Puck Pieterse, Letizia Paternoster, and Cédrine Kerbaol.

The presence of Polish riders is particularly exciting. On Easter Sunday, we will see, among others, the ninth-place finisher in the general classification of the 3rd Tour de Pologne Women – Malwina Mul as well as Marta Jaskulska and Karolina Kumiega, who will surely aim to make their mark in such a prestigious competition.

This year’s edition of Tour de Pologne Women promises to be exceptionally exciting. The race’s promotion to the UCI ProSeries calendar significantly raises its status and means we can expect an even stronger international field. It’s already clear that the world elite of women’s cycling will be looking toward Poland this summer.

The growing strength of the women’s peloton also has a direct impact on our race. Thanks to the promotion of Tour de Pologne Women to UCI ProSeries status, we will see even more top-tier teams at the start, coming to Poland to compete for the yellow jersey of the ORLEN General Classification leader and the blue jersey of the LOTTO Most Active Rider classification. A higher sporting category means tougher competition, but also greater exposure for riders, sponsors, and the entire cycling community.
