The Hills of the Lubelskie Region and Roztocze for the Start of the 4th Tour de Pologne Women

A little over a month remains until the start of the 4th Tour de Pologne Women. The first stage of this year’s edition of the women’s race will be held on the Tomaszów Lubelski – Zamość route, where we will discover the first leaders of the ORLEN General Classification and the LOTTO Most Active Rider Classification. The competition will take place on July 24-26.

Excitement is building ahead of the start of the 4th Tour de Pologne Women. The race will once again last 3 days and will be contested on the picturesque roads of the Lublin Voivodeship. The start of the first stage will be hosted by the charming city of Tomaszów Lubelski – marking the first visit of the women’s competition to this location.

Lang Team and Czesław Lang have prepared just under 142 kilometers and over 1100 meters of elevation gain for the competitors. The riders will face a route leading through the Commune and County of Tomaszów Lubelski, the Krasnobród Commune, the Zwierzyniec Commune, Radecznica, Szczebrzeszyn, and the Commune and City of Zamość, where they will sprint for the stage win, the LOTTO Stage Winner Award and the lead in the ORLEN General Classification.

A year ago, Chiara Consonni triumphed here – the eventual winner of the entire race. Additionally, LOTTO Sprint Primes will be located on the route – in Szczebrzeszyn and Krasnobród.

The route designated by the organizers is rich in historical and scenic highlights. The finish line will be in Zamość – the “Pearl of the Renaissance” – inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, known among other things for its unique Great Market Square with the Town Hall and Armenian tenement houses.

The peloton will also ride along the roads of the Roztocze National Park near Zwierzyniec, famous for its dense forests and the Echo Ponds.

The Tour de Pologne Women will continuously serve as an opportunity to promote the beauty of Poland domestically and around the world. This is all thanks to the professional broadcast produced by TVP, which will also be available on the HBO Max streaming platform. The level of sports competition also promises to be very high – this year’s edition of the race has been upgraded to the UCI ProSeries category and as many as 8 teams with a UCI Women’s WorldTeams license will be at the start line. The Polish National Team and the only Polish continental team, MAT ATOM Deweloper Wrocław, will also participate in the 4th Tour de Pologne Women.
