Less than 2 weeks remain until the start of the 4th Tour de Pologne Women. The most important cycling race for women in the country will start on July 24th and will once again last 3 days. On the roads of the Lubelskie Voivodeship, top cyclists from around the world will compete alongside representatives of Poland. The preliminary squad of the national team includes, among others, Kaja Rysz and Karolina Kumięga.
Excitement ahead of this year’s 4th Tour de Pologne Women is growing. The starting list for the race is also slowly taking shape, which – due to the growing prestige of the event and its promotion to the UCI ProSeries category – will abound in stars of the world peloton. Tour de Pologne Women is an opportunity for Polish cyclists to face the top riders from UCI Women’s WorldTour teams.
The start of this year’s edition will once again feature the only Polish team racing with a UCI Continental license – MAT ATOM Deweloper Wrocław – as well as the Polish National Team. The entry list for the national team includes: Kaja Rysz, Karolina Kumięga, Nikol Płosaj, Natalia Krześlak, Laura Choma and Zuzanna Marecka.
The first of these riders represents the Hitec Products – Fluid Control team, and in the past, she raced abroad for, among others, the WorldTour team Roland Le Devoluy. The Polish woman feels very comfortable in flat and hilly races, which is evidenced by numerous top spots in UCI events, including 7th place in the General Classification of the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Women 2025.
A year ago, Karolina Kumięga, currently a cyclist for the French team St Michel – Prefence Home – Auber93, also showed a very good side on the roads of the Lubelskie Voivodeship, finishing in 5th position on one of the stages. In the 2nd edition of the Tour de Pologne, Natalia Krześlak, who rides daily for TKK Pacific Nestle Fitness Toruń, placed in the top “10” of the ORLEN General Classification. Recently, the 23-year-old won a gold and silver medal at the World University Championships.
In the white and red outfit, we will also see Nikol Płosaj (Devoluy-Region Sud Ladies Cycling Team), who recently performed well in the Volta a Portugal Feminina and the Polish National Road Race Championships. The national team squad will be completed by Zuzanna Marecka (ALKS Stal Grudziądz) and Laura Choma (Choma Racing TSR).
The competitors will stand at the start of the 4th Tour de Pologne Women on July 24th in Tomaszów Lubelski, and the competition will end on July 26th in Lublin. Tour de Pologne Women will consistently be an opportunity to promote the beauty of Poland domestically and all over the world. All this is due to the professional broadcast produced by TVP, which will also be available on the HBO Max streaming platform. The sporting level also promises to be very high – this year’s edition of the race recorded a promotion to the UCI ProSeries category and as many as 8 teams with a UCI Women’s WorldTeams license will be at the start.
