The wait is over – tomorrow the 4th Tour de Pologne Women will kick off! The race, reactivated by Lang Team and Czesław Lang in 2024, will once again take place on the roads of the Lubelskie Voivodeship. In the competition from Tomaszów Lubelski to Lublin, which will last from Friday to Sunday, 8 top-tier global teams will participate, along with the Polish National Team and the continental MAT ATOM Deweloper Wrocław team.
On July 24-26, the 4th Tour de Pologne Women will be held under the slogan “They dictate the pace”. Previous editions of the race – after the reactivation of the competition in 2024 – proved to be a great organizational success, evidenced by its promotion to the prestigious UCI ProSeries category. This is a guarantee of the highest sporting level!
In this year’s edition of the race, 19 teams from Poland and around the world will take part, including as many as 8 teams from the UCI Women’s WorldTour – the women’s “cycling champions league”. The competitors – just like in the last two editions – will compete on the beautiful and picturesque routes of the Lubelskie Voivodeship.

Everything will begin in Tomaszów Lubelski, from where the peloton will set off on a 138-kilometer route with the finish line in Zamość, where Italy’s Chiara Consonni triumphed a year ago. In the Polish “pearl of the Renaissance”, we will find out the first LOTTO Stage Winner and the leader of the ORLEN General Classification, who will start the next day of the struggle in the characteristic yellow jersey. Over the distance of 138 kilometers, 2 LOTTO Intermediate Sprints are located, in Krasnobród and Szczebrzeszyn.
The next day, a 118-kilometer section from Włodawa to Lubartów will be contested, which will host the competition as part of the 4th Tour de Pologne Women for the first time. The stage profile is flat, which will favor the fastest competitors in the field, and one LOTTO Intermediate Sprint is located on the route – in Ludwin.
The grand finale of the 4th Tour de Pologne Women is scheduled for Sunday, when the cyclists will face a dynamic, slightly over 100-kilometer route from Janowiec to Lublin. The only LOTTO Intermediate Sprint will be located shortly after the start, in Puławy. Then the peloton will ride through rolling terrain all the way to Lublin, where we will get to know the LOTTO Stage Winner, as well as the ultimate winners of the ORLEN General Classification and the LOTTO Most Active Rider Classification.
Lublin has been known for great cycling emotions for years, and recently hosted stages of the Tour de Pologne Women and the Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour. It was in the capital of the Lublin Voivodeship that the individual time trial took place, inaugurating the reactivated Tour de Pologne Women in 2024.
As befits a prestigious UCI ProSeries race – the event attracted stars of world cycling to the start. Among them are Lorena Wiebes and Lotte Kopecky from Team SD Worx-Protime. The former is undeniably the best sprinter in the world, and Kopecky has won the title of world champion in the past. The dynamic Elisa Balsamo (Lidl-Trek), whom we will also see in the 4th Tour de Pologne Women, can boast a similar achievement.
Another Italian worth paying attention to is Chiara Consonni from Canyon//SRAM – the winner of the ORLEN General Classification of last year’s edition of the race, as well as the winner of two stages. Among the favorites, one should also mention Maggie Coles-Lyster (Human Powered Health), Pfeiffer Georgi (Team Picnic PostNL) or Lara Gillespie (UAE Team ADQ).
Polish fans can count on a good performance from the national team, the native MAT ATOM Deweloper Wrocław squad and riders racing in foreign teams. In the white-and-red outfit, we will see, among others, Kaja Rysz, who 2 years ago took 3rd place on one of the stages of the Tour de Pologne Women. The dynamic and talented Olga Wankiewicz and Maja Tracka race in the MAT ATOM Deweloper Wrocław team, while Marta Lach (Team SD Worx-Protime), Wiktoria Pikulik and Marta Jaskulska (Human Powered Health) found themselves in the squads of foreign teams.
The 4th Tour de Pologne Women will be a great celebration of cycling and at the same time a promotion of Poland in the international arena. The race will be broadcast on Polish Television TVP channels and on the HBO Max streaming platform, thanks to which the signal from the route will reach fans from 65 countries. You cannot miss this!
