The representation of top-tier teams at the start of the 4th Tour de Pologne Women has just expanded! The Fenix – Premier Tech team has joined the group of 7 UCI Women’s WorldTeams that we will see on the roads of the Lublin Voivodeship in July. The interest in participating in the Polish race confirms its growing status.
Even though the Tour de Pologne Women is a relatively young event, it climbs higher year by year. This year’s 4th edition will be held as a UCI ProSeries level event. Just like a year ago, the race setting will be at the highest level – as will the starting list, which will include as many as 8 teams racing with a UCI Women’s WorldTeams license, which only confirms the prestige of the competition.
Initially, 7 top-division teams were to take part in the July competition: UAE Team ADQ, Human Powered Health, Canyon//SRAM, Lidl-Trek, Team SD Worx – Protime, Liv-Jayco-AlUla, and Team Picnic PostNL. The race organizers are happy to announce that the 8th team from the world’s top ranks is joining the list of teams: Fenix – Premier Tech.
The riders of the Belgian team are known for their active and combative riding not only on the road, but also in cyclocross and mountain biking. The team includes, among others, Yara Kastelijn, sprinter Charlotte Kool, and multi-medalists of the world championships in off-road disciplines – Puck Pieterse and Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado.
The strong lineup of the 4th Tour de Pologne Women guarantees great cycling emotions that fans will experience on July 24-26 in the Lubelskie Voivodeship. The competition will start from Tomaszów Lubelski and the rivalry will end in Lublin. Along the way, the riders will also finish in Zamość and Lubartów. For 3 days, the cyclists will fight for victories in the ORLEN General Classification and the LOTTO Most Active Rider Classification, as well as the LOTTO Stage Winner Prime awarded after each segment.
Thanks to the cooperation with TVPand the HBO Max streaming platform, the race will reach millions of viewers in Poland and around the world, which will enable the promotion of the picturesque Lubelskie region and the Partners of the 4th Tour de Pologne Women.
