Lubelskie Voivodeship to Host the Stages of the 3rd Tour de Pologne Women

A press conference dedicated to the 3rd edition of the Tour de Pologne Women was held today at the headquarters of the Lublin Conference Centre in Lublin. Among the attendees were Czesław Lang, General Director of the race, and Jarosław Stawiarski, Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship. Lubelskie Voivodeship will be the official Host of all stages of the 3rd Tour de Pologne Women, which will take place from August 12 to 14.

Preparations for the 3rd Tour de Pologne Women are entering their final stage. The press event featured Marshal Jarosław Stawiarski and Tour de Pologne Women General Director Czesław Lang.

“The Lubelskie Voivodeship will once again host the Tour de Pologne Women. There will be three stages – we’ll start in Zamość, then head to Chełm, and finish with a stage from Nałęczów to Kraśnik. We feel the strong involvement and support of Marshal Jarosław Stawiarski, who understands the importance of promoting the region through sport. I’m very pleased with this. Together, we’re creating a fantastic event that not only delivers great sporting emotion but also promotes the Lubelskie region, the Roztocze area, and all its beautiful places” said Czesław Lang.

“Once again, I’m working with Czesław Lang – a one-man orchestra, a true enthusiast who knows everything about cycling and someone who promotes Poland. Let’s remember that cycling is watched all over the world, and we want the Lubelskie Voivodeship to be on everyone’s lips. We are ambitious – we don’t just want to advertise ourselves in Poland, but also internationally. Through the Tour de Pologne, we’re achieving that, and I hope that the 3rd edition of the Tour de Pologne Women will be just as exciting, filled with the joy of seeing the best rider win this three-stage race. That’s what I wish for all of us – and above all, to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of our beloved Lubelszczyzna” said Jarosław Stawiarski, Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship, during the press conference.

The race will be held from August 12 to 14, with the Lubelskie Voivodeship serving as the Host of all three stages, which will unfold across the region’s roads. The opening stage will both start and finish in Zamość, often called the “Pearl of the Renaissance.” The riders will take on an undulating route passing through the Roztocze National Park. Along the way, there will be a LOTTO Intermediate Sprint in Szczebrzeszyn, before the race heads back to Zamość, where the finish line will be near the iconic Old Town – a UNESCO World Heritage site. There, the first stage winner will also take the ORLEN General Classification leader’s jersey.

On the second day, the peloton will set off and finish in the charming city of Chełm, with a LOTTO Intermediate Sprint located along the route in Gmina Chełm. The final stage promises to be the most demanding. The riders will start in Nałęczów – the famous spa town – specifically in front of Arche Nałęczów dawne Sanatorium Milicyjne, the facility that will serve as the main hotel base for teams and organizers throughout the race.

“During the organization of the Tour de Pologne Women, our key Partners are Arche Nałęczów dawne Sanatorium Milicyjne and Arche Hotels. This will be the main race hub – from here we’ll travel to Zamość and Chełm, and this is also where the third stage, finishing in Kraśnik, will begin. The accreditation for the entire race will also take place at the Arche Nałęczów dawne Sanatorium Milicyjne. A huge thank you to these Partners – thanks to this collaboration, we’re able to prepare the race to the highest standard” said Czesław Lang.

The final stage – and the entire 3rd Tour de Pologne Women – will conclude in Kraśnik, where last year’s race ended with a thrilling battle for victory. This year’s route will be spiced up with LOTTO Sprint Primes in Urzędów and Węgliska, as well as a zondacrypto Special Prize in Sułów. After three days of competition, we will know the winner of the ORLEN General Classification and the wearer of the yellow jersey.

The 3rd Tour de Pologne Women is a first category race on the calendar of the Union Cycliste Internationale. No fewer than 7 top-tier UCI Women’s WorldTour teams will be at the start line, with confirmed participation from Poland’s Olympic silver medalist from Paris, Daria Pikulik. The race will be broadcast on TVP and Eurosport, as well as streamed on the MAX platform, bringing the action to fans in 65 countries.
