The 3rd Tour de Pologne Women will kick off on Tuesday in Zamość. Once again, the Polish National Team, led by selector Małgorzata Jasińska, will line up at the start. The squad’s leaders will be WorldTour riders – Kaja Rysz and Marta Jaskulska.
With only three days to go until the start of the 3rd Tour de Pologne Women, the competition will run from August 12 to 14 on the roads of the Lublin region. The impressive start list features seven UCI Women’s WorldTeams, as well as the Polish National Team, which will compete in a strong lineup.
Wearing the white-and-red jerseys will be Kaja Rysz (Roland Le Devoluy), Marta Jaskulska (CERATIZIT Pro Cycling Team), Anna Długaś (KK Ziemia Darłowska), Agata Kowalska (Baloise Minimax – WB Ladies), Laura Choma, and Weronika Wąsaty (KK Ziemia Darłowska). Initially, Marta Lach and Karolina Perekitko were also slated to take part, but due to health reasons, they were replaced by reserve riders.
Last year, Kaja Rysz claimed 3rd place on the final stage of the Tour de Pologne Women and – like Marta Jaskulska – is a rider for a UCI Women’s WorldTour team. Rysz competes for Roland Le Devoluy, while Jaskulska, last year’s Polish national champion in the individual time trial, rides for CERATIZIT Pro Cycling Team. The roster will be completed by talented Polish cyclists who will be supporting their leaders.
In addition to the Polish National Team, two Polish trade teams will also be on the start line: MAT ATOM Deweloper Wrocław and TKK Pacific Nestle Fitness, as well as riders such as Daria Pikulik, Agnieszka Skalniak-Sójka, and Dominika Włodarczyk, competing for professional UCI Women’s WorldTeams.
The battle featuring Polish riders promises to be thrilling. The race will be broadcast on TVP, Eurosport, and the HBO Max streaming platform, bringing live coverage to fans in 65 countries.
