Czesław Lang, the General Director of the Tour de Pologne, is thrilled to announce the teams that will take part in the 2nd edition of the Tour de Pologne Women race, which will take place in the Lublin region from June 28th to 30th, 2024.
After a hiatus, women’s cycling returns to Polish roads with an impressive lineup of 18 teams competing for victory in this prestigious event.
– We are extremely pleased to see the return of the Tour de Pologne Women. The role of women in cycling is crucial. We are delighted with the confidence shown by the teams in confirming their participation. We will soon reveal the race route so that the cyclists can analyze it and prepare accordingly. Time is short, but we are ready – said Czesław Lang.
Among the teams participating in the 2nd edition of the Tour de Pologne Women are national teams from countries such as Poland, Denmark, and Ukraine. In addition, Polish teams such as Mat Atom Deweloper Wrocław and Pacific Toruński Klub Kolarski will compete, along with athletes from Australia (Team Bridgelane) and Kazakhstan (Astana Dewi Women Team).
Notable mentions also go to the representatives of the UAE Development Team and Lotto Dstny Ladies. These are exceptionally strong teams that have demonstrated their capabilities on numerous occasions and are undoubtedly contenders for victory in Poland as well.
It is also worth noting the presence of the World Cycling Center (WCC), a team established by the UCI, which enables promising athletes from disadvantaged backgrounds to train in Switzerland and participate in the most prestigious international competitions.
The Main Sponsor of the race and the Main Sponsor of the General Classification is ORLEN, a company that has been fostering the development of Polish road cycling at both professional and amateur levels for years.
