The summer holiday season has long been associated with top-class cycling in Poland. Since 2024, fans have been able to enjoy not only elite men’s racing but also world-class women’s competition. From 24 to 26 July, riders from some of the world’s leading teams, together with the Polish National Team, will compete in the prestigious 4th Tour de Pologne Women, a UCI ProSeries event. The race will take place in the Lubelskie Voivodeship, covering a route from Tomaszów Lubelski to Lublin.
Women’s cycling has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, with Polish riders playing leading roles in the international peloton. This was one of the key reasons why Czesław Lang and Lang Team decided to revive the Tour de Pologne Women—an initiative that has proven to be a great success. The event has continued to climb the ranks of international cycling year after year and, in 2026, will be held as a UCI ProSeries race, welcoming some of the sport’s biggest stars along with eight UCI Women’s WorldTeams. For the third consecutive edition, the Lubelskie Voivodeship will host the race.
The opening stage features a rolling 138-kilometre route from Tomaszów Lubelski to Zamość, including two LOTTO Intermediate Sprints in Krasnobród and Szczebrzeszyn. The stage will finish in Zamość, the “Pearl of the Polish Renaissance,” where Italy’s Chiara Consonni claimed victory last year. This year’s first LOTTO Stage Winner will also be crowned there.
On the second day, the riders will tackle a flat 118-kilometre stage from Włodawa to Lubartów, a profile that should favour the fastest sprinters in the peloton. Along the way, the riders will contest the LOTTO Intermediate Sprint in Ludwin.
The race concludes on Sunday, 26 July. The final stage starts in Janowiec, with the peloton heading towards Puławy, where the day’s only LOTTO Intermediate Sprint will take place. The riders will then continue across the rolling roads of the Lubelskie region before finishing after 101 kilometres in Lublin. It is in the regional capital that the overall winners of the ORLEN General Classification and the LOTTO Most Active Rider Classification will be decided.
The provisional start list includes 20 teams, among them eight UCI Women’s WorldTeams, the Polish National Team, and MAT ATOM Deweloper Wrocław. The race will feature some of the biggest names in women’s cycling, including the world’s top sprinter Lorena Wiebes (Team SD Worx-Protime), former world champions Elisa Balsamo (Lidl-Trek) and Lotte Kopecky (Team SD Worx-Protime). Polish fans will also be cheering for Marta Lach (Team SD Worx-Protime), Wiktoria Pikulik (Human Powered Health), and national team riders Karolina Kumięga and Kaja Rysz.
Once again, the Tour de Pologne Women will showcase Poland and its picturesque landscapes to audiences around the world. Live coverage produced by TVP will also be available on the HBO Max streaming platform, reaching viewers in 65 countries. It promises to be a true celebration of world-class cycling
