From 28th to 30th June, female athletes will compete in a spectacular edition with two challenging stages and a race against time. After an eight-year hiatus, the second edition of the Tour de Pologne Officially unveiled yesterday in Lublin, the race will start in the city and then wind its way across the Lublin Voivodeship.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route, revealed yesterday with Jaroslaw Stawiarski, Marshal of the Lublin Province, in attendance, has been designed to showcase the beauty of this picturesque part of Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– We thought of a varied route that would suit all types of athletes but we also really wanted to go through an area that really has a lot to offer. This is a great opportunity to show it off in all its glory, both to the race caravan and to the Polish and international public. The three stages will therefore take place in the Lublin region, on a 243.6 kilometre route that will include towns that have already shown their interest in this wonderful sport by hosting the arrival and departure of the better known Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour in the past \u2013 commented Czes\u0142aw Lang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be the Lublin voivodeship that will host the great machine that is women\u2019s cycling, which is constantly and rapidly on the rise. While Krasnik, Powiat Krasnicki and Lublin are already experienced in providing the facilities necessary for organizing top-level races, Krasnystaw, Kazimierz Dolny, and Arche Naleczow will debut in this new project, passionately championed by the Lang Team and dedicated entirely to female athletes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 28th June, the dance will open with a time trial on a 4.5-kilometre course entirely on the streets of Lublin. A short but walled section that will give both specialists and outsiders who want to test themselves in this first stage a chance. For those with their sights set on the ORLEN general classification, it will be important to start with the right pedal stroke and take advantage in the classification from the first metre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second stage covers 136 kilometres from Krasnystaw to Kra\u015bnik. The first fifty kilometres of flat terrain will lead the peloton to the LOTTO flying finish in Radecznica, where the altitude changes, leaving fertile ground for the classics riders. The ramp to the finish will certainly favour the puncheurs, who will have the chance to unleash their energy and turn it into a real spectacle for the spectators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winner of the second edition of the Tour de Pologne Women will be decided on the third stage, which is 103 kilometres long and includes a circuit that will be repeated five times before the finish in Kazimierz Dolny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 28th June in Lublin, the world\u2019s best women\u2019s cyclists will gather for the start of an intense competition. The stages will give the athletes the chance to give their best and enjoy a challenge that matches their abilities. The public, on the other hand, will once again be able to enjoy the spectacle of sport along the most characteristic and scenic roads in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The race’s main sponsor and title sponsor of the General Classification is ORLEN, a longstanding supporter of the advancement of Polish road cycling across both professional and amateur spheres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
