The Tour de Pologne Women has once again been dominated by Dutch riders from the VolkerWessels Cycling Team. Laura Molenaar claimed the overall victory, with one of the stages won by Scarlett Souren. The riders finished first and second respectively in the ORLEN general classification. Now, Scarlett Souren has taken victory in the Argenta Classic \u2013 Deurne, a race that Daria Pikulik won twice in the past.<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the stars of last year\u2019s edition of the Tour de Pologne Women \u2013 Scarlett Souren \u2013 is back to winning ways. The Dutch rider representing the VolkerWessels Cycling Team claimed victory in the one-day race Argenta Classic \u2013 Deurne, where she was the fastest in a small group sprint, beating Britain’s Millie Couzens and Austria’s Kathrin Schweinberger.<\/p>\n

Last year, Scarlett Souren played a key role in the 2nd edition of the Tour de Pologne Women, winning the final stage and finishing 3rd and 4th in the previous ones. In the ORLEN general classification, she finished second, behind only her teammate Laura Molenaar.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, the Argenta Classic \u2013 Deurne has twice been won by Daria Pikulik, currently riding for Human Powered Health. One of the world\u2019s top sprinters and an Olympic silver medalist in the track omnium from Paris, she is expected to take part in this year\u2019s Tour de Pologne Women. The 2025 edition will feature as many as 7 Women\u2019s WorldTour teams. In addition to Human Powered Health, the lineup includes: UAE Team ADQ, Canyon\/\/SRAM zondacrypto, Lidl-Trek, Uno-X Mobility, FDJ-SUEZ, and AG Insurance \u2013 Soudal Team.<\/p>\n

\u2013 I\u2019m happy to see this race gaining more and more importance, and that\u2019s why we approach it organizationally just like the Tour de Pologne. The production, stage design, and media coverage \u2013 it\u2019s all top-level. It will be a beautiful spectacle, and it\u2019s great that Polish riders will have a chance to show themselves. We meet all the organizational criteria of the UCI, and I believe we will soon be part of the WorldTour \u2013<\/em> says Czes\u0142aw Lang, General Director of the Tour de Pologne Women.<\/p>\n

The racing on the roads of the Lublin region and Roztocze promises to be exciting once again. Organizers have prepared three varied stages \u2013 in Zamo\u015b\u0107, Che\u0142m, and the finale from Na\u0142\u0119cz\u00f3w to Kra\u015bnik. All stages will be broadcast on TVP and Eurosport, as well as on the streaming platform MAX, thus ensuring global promotion of the region and women\u2019s cycling.<\/p>\n
