A press conference dedicated to the 3rd edition of the Tour de Pologne Women was held today at the headquarters of the Lublin Conference Centre in Lublin. Among the attendees were Czes\u0142aw Lang, General Director of the race, and Jaros\u0142aw Stawiarski, Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship. Lubelskie Voivodeship will be the official Host of all stages of the 3rd Tour de Pologne Women, which will take place from August 12 to 14.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Preparations for the 3rd Tour de Pologne Women are entering their final stage. The press event featured Marshal Jaros\u0142aw Stawiarski and Tour de Pologne Women General Director Czes\u0142aw Lang.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Lubelskie Voivodeship will once again host the Tour de Pologne Women. There will be three stages \u2013 we\u2019ll start in Zamo\u015b\u0107, then head to Che\u0142m, and finish with a stage from Na\u0142\u0119cz\u00f3w to Kra\u015bnik. We feel the strong involvement and support of Marshal Jaros\u0142aw Stawiarski, who understands the importance of promoting the region through sport. I\u2019m very pleased with this. Together, we\u2019re creating a fantastic event that not only delivers great sporting emotion but also promotes the Lubelskie region, the Roztocze area, and all its beautiful places\u201d<\/em> said Czes\u0142aw Lang.<\/p>\n

“Once again, I\u2019m working with Czes\u0142aw Lang \u2013 a one-man orchestra, a true enthusiast who knows everything about cycling and someone who promotes Poland. Let\u2019s remember that cycling is watched all over the world, and we want the Lubelskie Voivodeship to be on everyone’s lips. We are ambitious \u2013 we don\u2019t just want to advertise ourselves in Poland, but also internationally. Through the Tour de Pologne, we\u2019re achieving that, and I hope that the 3rd edition of the Tour de Pologne Women will be just as exciting, filled with the joy of seeing the best rider win this three-stage race. That\u2019s what I wish for all of us \u2013 and above all, to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of our beloved Lubelszczyzna\u201d<\/em> said Jaros\u0142aw Stawiarski, Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship, during the press conference.<\/p>\n

The race will be held from August 12 to 14, with the Lubelskie Voivodeship serving as the Host of all three stages, which will unfold across the region\u2019s roads. The opening stage will both start and finish in Zamo\u015b\u0107, often called the “Pearl of the Renaissance.” The riders will take on an undulating route passing through the Roztocze National Park. Along the way, there will be a LOTTO Intermediate Sprint in Szczebrzeszyn, before the race heads back to Zamo\u015b\u0107, where the finish line will be near the iconic Old Town \u2013 a UNESCO World Heritage site. There, the first stage winner will also take the ORLEN General Classification leader\u2019s jersey.<\/p>\n

On the second day, the peloton will set off and finish in the charming city of Che\u0142m, with a LOTTO Intermediate Sprint located along the route in Gmina Che\u0142m. The final stage promises to be the most demanding. The riders will start in Na\u0142\u0119cz\u00f3w \u2013 the famous spa town \u2013 specifically in front of Arche Na\u0142\u0119cz\u00f3w<\/em> dawne Sanatorium Milicyjne<\/em>, the facility that will serve as the main hotel base for teams and organizers throughout the race.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring the organization of the Tour de Pologne Women, our key Partners are Arche Na\u0142\u0119cz\u00f3w <\/em>dawne Sanatorium Milicyjne<\/em> and Arche Hotels. This will be the main race hub \u2013 from here we\u2019ll travel to Zamo\u015b\u0107 and Che\u0142m, and this is also where the third stage, finishing in Kra\u015bnik, will begin. The accreditation for the entire race will also take place at the Arche Na\u0142\u0119cz\u00f3w <\/em>dawne Sanatorium Milicyjne<\/em>. A huge thank you to these Partners \u2013 thanks to this collaboration, we\u2019re able to prepare the race to the highest standard\u201d<\/em> said Czes\u0142aw Lang.<\/p>\n

The final stage \u2013 and the entire 3rd Tour de Pologne Women \u2013 will conclude in Kra\u015bnik, where last year\u2019s race ended with a thrilling battle for victory. This year\u2019s route will be spiced up with LOTTO Sprint Primes in Urz\u0119d\u00f3w and W\u0119gliska, as well as a zondacrypto Special Prize in Su\u0142\u00f3w. After three days of competition, we will know the winner of the ORLEN General Classification and the wearer of the yellow jersey.<\/p>\n

The 3rd Tour de Pologne Women is a first category race on the calendar of the Union Cycliste Internationale. No fewer than 7 top-tier UCI Women\u2019s WorldTour teams will be at the start line, with confirmed participation from Poland\u2019s Olympic silver medalist from Paris, Daria Pikulik. The race will be broadcast on TVP and Eurosport, as well as streamed on the MAX platform, bringing the action to fans in 65 countries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
