Recent seasons in professional women\u2019s cycling have brought steady and consistent development of the discipline in Poland. Riders competing under the white-and-red flag are regularly visible in the fight for top positions in the biggest races. This year, Polish riders finished 5th in the Union Cycliste Internationale ranking.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Polish women\u2019s cycling has been enjoying a period of growth for several years now. The progress of the white-and-reds is reflected in the increasing number of riders competing in the world\u2019s top teams, where they play leading roles. In recent years, Poland has stabilized its position as one of the leading cycling nations.<\/p>\n

For the second year in a row, Polish riders claimed 5th place in the UCI ranking, finishing behind only the Dutch, Italians, Swiss and French. This high position is the result of outstanding performances by riders such as Katarzyna Niewiadoma-Phinney, Dominika W\u0142odarczyk, Agnieszka Skalniak-S\u00f3jka, Marta Lach and Kaja Rysz, whose points counted toward this year\u2019s ranking. Notably, as many as three of them \u2013 Dominika W\u0142odarczyk, Agnieszka Skalniak-S\u00f3jka and Kaja Rysz \u2013 took part in the 3rd Tour de Pologne Women, held in August this year on the roads of the Lublin Voivodeship.<\/p>\n

An undeniable strength of Polish women\u2019s cycling is its depth \u2013 beyond the riders mentioned above, there are many others capable of achieving major successes. One example is Daria Pikulik, one of the best road sprinters in the world.<\/p>\n

The response of Czes\u0142aw Lang and the Lang Team to the dynamic development of Polish women\u2019s cycling and its growing popularity was the reactivation of the Tour de Pologne Women in 2024. Since then, the race has been steadily climbing the cycling ladder and, in just two years, has advanced from second-category status to the prestigious UCI ProSeries.<\/p>\n

This means not only an increase in the race\u2019s prestige, but also a valuable opportunity for Polish riders to compete against the world\u2019s leading teams and athletes, who will return to Poland next year to battle in the Tour de Pologne Women once again. Top-level racing will again be broadcast on Telewizja Polska and Eurosport, ensuring that the signal reaches fans in 65 countries worldwide.<\/p>\n
