When the peloton of the Tour de Pologne Women rolls onto the roads of the Lubelskie Voivodeship, fans will see not only team colors, distinctive jerseys, and the world\u2019s most accomplished riders. Beneath them lies the race\u2019s quiet second hero \u2014 the bicycle, one of the most technologically advanced tools used in modern sport.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to the promotion of the Tour de Pologne Women to the ProSeries level, even more elite teams will line up at the start, all aiming to claim the yellow jersey of the ORLEN General Classification leader. Their bikes represent the pinnacle of engineering: ultralight, incredibly stiff, and aerodynamically refined down to the smallest detail.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

For fans, the key question is: what makes a WorldTour rider\u2019s bike different from a high-end bike available in stores? The answer lies in materials and precision manufacturing. Frames are built almost exclusively from carbon fiber, allowing the perfect balance of weight, stiffness, and comfort.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regulations of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) set the minimum weight of a road bike at 6.8 kg \u2014 and, just like in the men\u2019s peloton, many teams must actually add weight to meet this limit. Time trial bikes are heavier but maximally aerodynamic, with shapes resembling aircraft wings and every component designed to minimize air resistance.<\/span><\/p>\n

For many years, top-tier bikes have featured electronic groupsets. Gear changes are wireless and instantaneous, with teams most commonly using two leading systems: Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 or SRAM Red AXS. Wheels feature deeper rims and wider profiles for improved aerodynamics and stability. Tubeless tires with minimal rolling resistance, ceramic bearings, and fully integrated cockpits individually fitted to each rider are now standard.<\/span><\/p>\n

The cost of such a bike can reach several hundred thousand z\u0142oty \u2014 especially for time trial machines with custom solutions and 3D-printed cockpits. A top-level frame alone costs many thousands, followed by carbon wheels, an electronic drivetrain, power meter, GPS computer, and components perfectly matched to the rider\u2019s physical characteristics.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is worth remembering, however, that while equipment plays a huge role, races are ultimately won by legs, courage, and tactics. The Tour de Pologne Women is where cutting-edge technology meets the determination of the world\u2019s best riders \u2014 and that combination is what makes racing at the highest level so thrilling.<\/span><\/p>\n

Below we present a list of the women\u2019s UCI Women’s WorldTour teams of the 2026 season and their equipment partners. Most of them will appear on the route of the Tour de Pologne Women (24\u201326 July 2026).<\/span><\/p>\n
